• Minimum experience required: 7 years • Previous leadership of large teams or groups required. • Experience working through others by influencing, collaborating and co-creating in matrix and interdependent organizations required • Proven track record of leading and developing high level leaders in a fast-paced retail environment • Strong understanding of how excellent customer service looks • Knowledge and understanding of customer service standards, routines and best practices
• Accountable for leading the Selling, Com-In, Recovery and Merchandising Basic teams and working in collaboration with the Logistics and Customer Experience teams to secure a seamless and high quality multichannel shopping experience • Delivers and leads the multichannel and commercial action plan and the commercial calendar for the store • Drives sales and optimizes profitability in the store using the knowledge of the range, local market, competition and customers. Analyzes the store's commercial performance and enables the IKEA mechanical sales system to work efficiently and ensures the continues success of the IKEA Concept • Contributes interdependently to the creation and implementation of the store business plan with knowledge of people's life at home, of your local market potential and consumer shopping behavior • Ensures that customer insights are translated into locally relevant, functional, aesthetic and commercial home furnishing solutions that exceed customer expectations and reflect home furnishing the IKEA way • Ensures a better understanding of the local customer, market and community to enable a better local connection to the store experience, solutions and commercial calendar • Initiates and facilitates all the processes of the working method for presenting the IKEA range that leads the store team to a relevant, sustainable and inspiring range presentation, an optimal store layout and effective and efficient store communication • Responsible for identifying, recruiting and developing talent to secure a diverse, competence, high performing team and future succession. Supports the leaders in doing the same with their co-workers • Accountable to ensure that the Commercial team works in compliance with the IKEA code of Conduct and the IKEA Employment Standards
