WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Knowledge about customers’ living situations and retail trends in the different areas around the world as well as their needs, expectations and shopping behaviour
• Extensive knowledge about consumer and retail trends that influence home furnishing expectations and shopping behaviour
• Knowledge about market potential in existing and new
• Business knowledge and experience in developing businesses
• Knowledge of managing and leading teams
• Knowledge of IKEA concept, brand objectives, values and vision
• Knowledge of Ingka Group strategies, priorities and strategic expansion planning process
• Knowledge of how to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders in IKEA
• Knowledge of the IKEA retail and multichannel shopping experience
• Knowledge of how to set direction, create and
manage goals and plans and follow up on KPI
• Proven advanced training in new retail solution or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience of developing new businesses
• Minimum 3 years of experience in leading and influencing teams and managers
• Experience from managing change in a complex business environment
• Experience within Project Management
• Good knowledge and understanding of the whole IKEA Retail Establishment process (eg. Business Case, PDI, Project Design phase and Commercial Brief)
• Good experience of working and steering through financial tools (eg. Investment Request (IR), P&L)
• Retail country experience
• Multicultural experience

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the definition of the commercial brief for the establishment of new customer meeting point together with the support of the Country Commercial Team.
• Be in the key position to lead, coach and drive the team to clarify, navigate the country organization on CMP projects in order to understand the way to work with process and OD (what is OD?) with IKEA culture and values as the foundation.
• Be the key contact window of Expansion Commercial Team, keep closely working on checkpoints and handover the planned solution.
• Validate the new solution before execution to ensure an effective and efficient establishment.
• Support establishment Team to manage time, cost, scope and quality of the new solutions, including how to organize and work in a simple, lean and cost-efficient way.
• Manage communication by planning and distributing relevant information and learnings to the different stakeholders within the Ingka organization.
• Identify, mitigate, monitor and control risks.
• Evaluate and ensure the solution delivered corresponding to the commercial brief.
• Lead the process to evaluate the potential improvement needed to reach the ambition describing in the business case, with the support of market area managers and country commercial team.
• Be aware of the best practice with IKEA internationally and up to speed with the retail trend in China market.
• Take the lead in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values where our co-workers are informed, engaged and empowered..

• Lead, coach and develop a high performing team that will strongly contribute to reaching the objectives and goals in Expansion
