Job description

• Analyse and evaluate (orders, need, forecast, stock and sales) data in order to identify the risks in Distribution Centres and Stores and take actions to secure highest optimum availability at lowest cost
• Proactively take the lead in coordinating supply chain partners to find optimum solutions to supply constraints
• Report on a range of KPIs providing information to retail and supply chain partners
• Secure availability of agreed articles used in global and country activities
• Regularly review and provide input to secure optimal replenishment solution
• Calculate the plan for all discontinued range, agreeing final buy from suppliers and coordinating between regions
• Claim handling
• Together with BA Food, support timely and correct product information to the IKEA retailers
• Together with other supply chain partners, contribute to establishment of new retail unit and new markets
• Secure proper documentation as needed in the customs clearance process
• Register and maintain parameters for retail and range in the relevant business solutions
• Transfer of knowledge regarding ways of working to IKEA retailers


Qualification

• University degree in logistics / supply / business administration or relevant working experience
• 1-3 years of experience of Logistics or Supply Chain
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in English both written and verbal
• Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

• Leadership capabilities including high commitment to business goals by delivering results and make things happen
• Ability to translate business needs across various business partners and functions
• Analytical, structured and organised
• Firm, proactive and fact based decision maker with the ability to delegate and escalate
