• Budget management: Knowledge of how to plan, organise and manage costs and expenditures for a business or organisation • Business risk management: Knowledge of how to assess and mitigate risks in a business environment • Facility Management scope and ways of working: Know which services are included in the agreed Facility Management service scope in Ingka and understand the Facility Management delivery model, as well as the position of Facility Management within the Ingka business • Facility Management business processes: Understand the main Facility Management business processes (e.g. work order management for urgent, planned and reactive maintenance, contract and supplier management) on site level • Facility Management market as well as standards & rules: Know the country Facility Management market for both hard and soft Facility Management services, as well as the international and Facility Management standards, manuals and rules in Ingka • Sustainability aspects in Facility Management: Know how sustainability interacts with Facility Management (energy consumption, water consumption, emissions, waste management, chemical products, IWAY, purchasing …). • Sustainable operations transformation: Knowledge of how to transform our operations to become climate positive and contribute to a circular society. • Technical knowledge on buildings and equipment: Technical understanding in all aspects of an Ingka building and connected equipment. Understanding of asset management (maintenance and repair history, reinvestment planning, …) • Facility Management hard (technical) services: Knowledge of how to successfully deliver, organise and follow up on 'hard' service (technical maintenance, IKEA Food equipment, …) • IT tools relevant for Facility Management: Knowledge of all relevant IT tools within Facility Management
• Support that each property is managed throughout its lifetime including safety, compliance, maintenance and improvement to ensure a safe and operational environment for the business, co-workers, customers and other stakeholders. • Support purchase and implementation of relevant property management innovations, digital and technical solutions related to your specialist area that meet the needs of the business and the many people • Advice, mentor and support the delivery of the agreed FM services in the cluster by maintaining and sharing up-to-date expertise and enhance the Ingka specialist area knowledge, while driving operational best-practice within the business in strict adherence with all applicable local regulations and mandatories in Ingka. • Develop and maintain subject area expertise both personally and within the FM organisation; drive the requirement collection process in your specialist area with relevant stakeholders • Participate actively in the subject matter network on both local and global level by detecting needs, knowledge and best-practices in the cluster organisation and escalate/share them with the group organisation. Participate in global subject matter update meetings and organise them in the cluster. • Drive the implementation of approved best-practices and projects, aimed at lowering operational cost, and improving the reliability of assets and the efficiency of the FM services. • Drive the impact of your specialist area on the operational and financial results of FM and the Ingka business. • Contribute to the goalsetting, the FM budgeting activities, the 5 year rolling plan and the annual plan in your specialist area. Assist in controlling cost through working in a lean, simple and cost-conscious way, encouraging colleagues to discover more effective ways or working in your specialist area. • Follow up of permits, licences, certificates and reporting measures in order to stay compliant with local and international legislation regarding the Facility Management scope in Ingka.
