Job description

About the job

Reporting to the IKEA Business Leader, you are to support sales maximisation in your business area by leveraging on existing IKEA product range and tools.

Your assignment

  • Understand and clarify client requirements, coordinate and arrange products to fulfil new and existing customer’s orders
  • Follow through on orders and enquiries through emails and phone calls
  • Work closely with third party associates and all store departments to secure stocks
  • Provide advice to clients on products through essential product knowledge
  • You know the processes and you are responsible for sales documentations and ad hoc assignments.

Qualification
  • You have at least 1 year of experience in high volume business or multiple stakeholder coordination
  • You have strong interest in the home furnishing business and customer service
  • You take lead in ensuring results are delivered, able to work under pressure and able to prioritise and work in an effective manner
  • You have fair commercial acumen, excellent interpersonal skills and able to relate to customers’ needs
  • You are comfortable in developing knowledge and utilising key system tools
  • Able to converse with Chinese-speaking clients
  • You are open to work rotating shifts (including weekends and public holidays) to cover the operation's peak periods.
