• Taking Overall responsible for store business compliant with external regulation, secure legal and governance
aspects of the businesses and operations in IKEA for local market (also applicable for bullets below):
- Secure the fulfilment of Government Permits and Licence requirement
- Acting as link between with Legal function and business unit to deal with external lawsuit issues
- Develop and maintain strong public relationships with EXTERNAL of IKEA
- Anchor the local regulation into store daily operation
• Leading and encouraging awareness activities on steering documents through learning and communication
• Leading the implementation and integration of the Risk Management Process into the business processes (and functions), resulting in an annual store Risk Register showing key risks
• Governing store general Procurement to Payment process in right track
• Leading the stake holders, to plan and manage the whole store compliance activities to secure the store business compliance, special focusing iMonitor, food safety audit (HACCP) , food operation audit and iWay Audit
• For non-compliant area, considering cost and efficiency , providing recommendations and support for the business to develop action plans and monitor their implementation
• Prepare periodical consolidated reports for Store Management on the overall level of compliance on key risk areas
• Work together with the Country Compliance Manager to ensure IKEA standards, risk management frameworks and legal demands are followed
• Meet the desired level of compliance to the KPI’s by achieving positive results during Compliance verification activities
• Business Follow-up and Reporting:
- Be responsible for in-store business performance follow ups and communication
- Provide business reporting and related analysis by kinds of periodic reports in sales, margin, costs, productivity and other KPIs for store constant performance improvement
• Business Performance analysis and steering:
- Use benchmarking and store clusters to identify potentials, communicate the findings to the store management team and implement proven solutions
- Secure the financial performance in line with goals and I highlight deviations and potentials, in order that store can take action to achieve goals
- Work together with the commercial team in analyzing benefits, costs and investments to ensure the good return on investments
• Financial Budget & Forecast:
- Support the BN & BNOM in co-ordinating the yearly financial budget and communicating the goals to related parties in the store and SO BN
- Co-ordinate and communicate the bi-monthly financial forecasts throughout the year
- Contribute to the store scenario planning process
• Others:
- To be the super user for relevant system in store
- To be involved in the cost efficiency activities
- To ensure that financial and accounting routines are implemented in the store
