Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the Accounting Department (Accounts Payable; Credit Control & General Ledger)
Involved in statutory audit, corporate tax and legal matters
Ensure effective management, monitoring and tracking of business entities, reporting financial status.
Analyse business performance/results, providing feedback to key stakeholders.
Prepare and ensure monthly financial results and financial accounting are properly kept to meet statutory or audit requirements.
Budget and Forecast – Consolidation and analysis of numbers to be presented to the stakeholder.
Responsible for management reporting to Group level & ensure all reconciliations are performed
Monitor and account for company assets.
Renew and Improve SOPs and identify gaps to drive accounting and finance process efficiencies and improvements.
Involvement and contribution in finance-related projects including system improvements and upgrades which support the whole accounting process.
Leading the Accounting department in delivering the business result.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or ACCA with 5-6 years of working in Finance and Accounting field.
Minimum 5-6 years of working in Finance and Accounting field.
Financial responsibility and budgeting experience.
Has been involved with new system / process integrations / set-ups.
Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Organizational skills and multitasking, ability to prioritize.
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Retail or shopping centre experience.
Managerial and leadership, Technical background from large scale companies.
