Job description
  1. Actively contribute to create a "safety first" culture including to ensure all quality and food safety related policies and work routines are complied and practiced at all times.  
  2. Ensure operational efficiency and that routines and job requirements are known and practiced by your colleagues in all daily works.  
  3. Being passionate about the IKEA food range and always act as a natural source of know-how about IKEA food range, product sheets, production planning and food preparation, to ensure highest standard of presentation to inspire our guests.  
  4. Has active interest in local competition and always provide inputs that may help to promote our products to best show our competitive advantage.  
  5. Ensure our customer are always in focus and strive to make them smile. Meet and serve our customers showing empathy and care. Willing to listen and support them with an attitude based on the IKEA values.
  6. Always look at my store through the eyes of our customers and walk the store regularly. A daily dialogue with our customers to get continuous feedback about their experiences and to learn more about their needs and wants. Take action based on their input.
  7. An overview of the store business plan and IKEA Food action plans, and I contribute to my area’s action plan by supporting my manager in implementing it with the team.
  8. Know a top-selling products and 3 Aces and 1 King, and ensure they are available and clearly communicated and displayed at all times.
  9. During unexpectedly quiet times I initiate commercial activities that attract store visitors and increase the take-up-rate, or take other actions to secure productivity.
  10. Lead by example and support and coach my colleagues on the job they can meet the needs of our customers and grow professionally.
  11. Work actively to create an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality, and diversity is valued, to ensure IKEA Food is regarded as a great place to work.
  12. Always train and coach by sharing your specialist competence with co-workers.  
  13. Acting quickly on commercial opportunities and customer feedback.  
  14. Contributes to departmental action plan and support the goals and targets set by your manager.
