For this role we believe you have Experience of working in a commercial environment, in a customer-oriented business & actively selling through understanding customers and their needs. You have interest in people’s everyday life at home and home furnishing. You are open to change/highly flexible. You have the Ability to work together in a team. You have the ability to make quick decisions and take personal initiatives. You have the Ability to communicate in English (Spoken/Written). You have the ability to prioritize and organize your own work to make efficient use of the time available.
You have knowledge in the following areas:
• The right attitude and behavior to sell actively and help customers to buy.
• Ability to create a high commercial performance. Numeracy and computer literacy. Sales steering.
• Sales location management/sales space capacity Understanding of the local market and competition.

Your responsibilities

Optimize the IKEA shopping experience in your shop and store to secure satisfied customers and increase sales. You do this by motivating and inspiring your department team using knowledge of the IKEA product range and services, the local market and IKEA customers. The shopkeeper optimizes sales and profitability of the department through following up, conducting analyses and taking actions. You use IKEA tools and the expertise of your team and colleagues to support you.
• Ensure you have the right number of competent co-workers in the right place at the right time and securing that they are fully able and available to serve customers and actively help them to buy.

• Ensure the shop is in excellent shape as new and fully and efficiently stocked with the four merchandising basics in place at all times and that the IKEA product range is presented in ways that inspire and satisfy customers.

• Ensure your team has all the correct knowledge about the product range in your department and the IKEA services so that they can share this with IKEA customers to improve their overall shopping experience.

• Manage a team of coworkers and deliver operations leads and targets on a monthly basis while offering best customer experience

• Business development, Strategic Planning & Reporting.

• Ensure that projects are completed within schedules while meeting client needs quality parameters and design guidelines and deliver a 5 Star customer experience while meeting operational targets

• Build coach and lead a high-performance team

• Support in defining and implementing criteria for control and management of the projects in the region

• Sourcing, on boarding and improving competence of new partners and workers.
